Lucerne #4

One of the coolest things we found in Lucerne was this old town wall.  And we didn't even know it was really here.  We were looking around an saw some towers.  Followed some of the roads to a tower and followed the old wall down past 6 of their 8 remaining towers.  What I loved is that each tower was individual.  Each was designed for a slightly different defense and it made a very lovely walk now.  They had 3 towers that you could climb.  I climbed one and my plantar was screaming at me, so I sat at the bottom and chatted with Seth while Jer climbed the other 2.  One of the ones that Jer climbed was the inside of a clock.  Jer called us in to that one... we went in and up a level, but Jer went to the top.

This is the pendulum of the clock.

The Mill Bridge from the top of the last tower on the wall.

Whoops.... posting this one wrong too.  This was Salzburg.

This is my favorite shot that Jer took from the towers.  I loved that walking path and I'm glad we found it even though my foot was dying.

Jer even got me.

This yak reminded me of the Yak from the movie Zootopia.  I kept quoting him and Seth and Jer.... both of whom usually quote movies didn't get it.  I'm guessing that they don't watch the same movies as I do... I usually watch with little kids.

I think I got this one mixed up too.  I'm pretty sure this was from our Rhine River trip.

Rhees Family

This is such a fun family.  They're sweet and playful.  It's fun to get to know them and try not to freeze in the cold rain!  It was...
