42

It's time to celebrate Seth as the answer to everything.  We love our Uncle and we're happy to wish him happy birthday.

Awesome theme Nella!

Temple pen making

We got a really neat opportunity this last Saturday. It almost didn't happen.  4 of our 6 people had conflicts but they all worked out in the end to create this awesome activity. The Lindon Temple lot was an orchard.  When they cut down the trees, a wood worker next door, took the wood and made Christmas ornaments for the temple construction crew.  The leftover wood he has offered for people to come and wood turn pens.  Seth was a year too young to be able to make one, so Jeremy made one for him.  Evelyn and I made ours out of the same wood that they are doing the trim out of in the temple. It was such a cool activity.

Prim and Proper

One of the daycare kids broke her favorite scratching house.... she mournfully laid on it for hours.

misc

Never too old to wrestle

Picking up Sam from band camp. He had a blast and got to record in disney studios and play at Disneyland for the first time.

Yep, he needs glasses.

Homework time.

Ada did homework outside with me and the daycare kids.

We played games with Joe for his birthday.  This was the obligatory birthday photo taken by Seth.

Evelyn had two teeth pulled because they just weren't coming out but they needed to put her braces on before she was done growing.  We've been waiting for almost two years.  She was more nervous for the extractions than for the braces.  She has an expander in now.  Sam also had a filling replaced.  They'd done it and it fell out a couple weeks later... so they just took care of it for no cost.

Family Spring Break breakfast to Kneaders.

Symphony with Ada.  We did one with Sam too, but we didn't get a picture.

Evelyn was on a puzzle kick.

Cute picture of loved ones.

Vivien asked for a unicorn for her birthday.  We ran out of town, but we got it done before her surgery.  Maybe it can keep her company.

Family baptism date.

Seth makes a tent every morning.... whether the air is warm or cold, it doesn't matter... he still parks himself over the vent.

My boat and egg paintings were hung in the Scera Shell Gallery 101 for April.

Lindon temple is coming along.

Get togethers

Game night at Nellie's with Mitch and Ranger.

Cousin Josie

Jer and Nick checking in with their ham radio club.

Spring Break visit to NickleMania

Flute jam session.

April fools day dinner with Jason and Sarah Jolley.  We had meatloaf "cupcakes" and jello "juice" with biscuits and veggies.  It was fun.

Seth and Jack have been building forts that cover the entire basement.  It's fun. AND they are big enough that they put it away when asked too.

Symphony with the Hansens.  We got to go to Mozarts' Requiem.

Evelyn's ballroom party.

Flute, violin, piano jam session.

cats and where they sleep

Syl likes Evelyn's fish, but Evelyn is afraid that she'll kill the fish... so when Jer set up the humidifier, Syl was completely entranced by the fish antibacterial thing floating around.  She sat there for hours.

Sam's her favorite napping buddy... and so are his coats.

Easter

Easter was different for us.  Sam was out of town most of the week for a band tour to California, and most of our cousins are too big for large Easter egg hunts.  We did a neighborhood one, but when I thought I was taking pictures, my camera had been set into demo mode and I didn't actually get any pictures.  Beth sent me one of Seth and Jack so I'm glad for that.  We had a lunch with Grandma and Grandpa Wilcox where we painted rocks that looked like the one in front of the tomb.  Grandpa Robertson was in Florida, but we got together with Grandma, Joe T, and the Hansen cousins.  We had dinner and sang some of the new hymns.

Ada painted these at young women's.  They turned out beautiful.

This one is Sethie's note.

My primary kids wrote notes to the prophet.  These were a few of the 60 notes that I mailed to the church office building.  My favorite is "Love is just like singing".

To kick of Easter week, we invited friends over to sing the Messiah.

Rhees Family

This is such a fun family.  They're sweet and playful.  It's fun to get to know them and try not to freeze in the cold rain!  It was...
