Random doings

Syl hid all of her mice under the fridge.  I pulled them out, which made her happy... but then she proceeded to start batting them back under the fridge again.

I pulled out the eggs to make dinner and ended up having to clean the floor, fridge and inside the freezer.

We took Seth to the Provo City Center temple for the first time.  That was fun.

It was so hot this year that we didn't get many flowers.  We finally got some blooms a month late.

Seth got his birthday present legos and was in love with them... he's so cute.

I took two photo shoots at the Oquirrh Mountain temple in the last two weeks.

Ada and I got to see the gilded doors at BYU before she moved out.

I went to help mow the lawn and ended up eating raspberries as a yummy reward.

Robotics camp

Seth did a robotics camp this summer.  He had a blast.  Like everything that he does, he didn't think he'd like it and then proceeded to work hard, make friends and have a fun time.  Gabe was in his group and they made a robot that they named, Tank.  They sumo wrestled, did mazes, played soccer.  He learned about making the different pieces work not just thinking about the overwhelming finished project.

Sam's summer

Sam entered a gaming tournament this month and won.  He got this nifty trophy and $20 gift card.  Good job Sam!

He's been doing lots of music practice all summer.  Recorder, piano, flute, piccolo, sax and Evelyn started teaching him the violin.  It was cute seeing the two of them sit and work on songs together.  The daycare kids loved when he would play the flute or recorder for them.  I have some cute pictures of all of them holding sticks and pretending to play the recorder with him.

Hiking

Jer and the kids have gone to Stewart Falls and Hamburger walk this last couple of weeks.  I love my hikers and I'm proud of them.

Grandma Robertson's birthday

Grandma turned 75.  We got to go down, swim, cook hot dogs, play games and chat with cousins far and near.  We're sad that not everyone can be there, but we're happy when they can.

Afternoon picnic

Before summer ended, we took a quick picnic up to Bridal Veil Falls.  It's been a couple of years and the kids forgot how cold the water is.  We threw rocks, got in trouble for throwing rocks too near old people, built a dam, got wet, saw someone carrying a pet parrot, hiked the waterfall, and learned to pick skipping rocks.

Harding Family reunion

I haven't been to a Harding family reunion in years.  This time, it was a week after the 4th so we were able to make it.
The boys decided to play spike ball on the raft.  They said that if they missed, they had to jump in the water.

Evelyn decided to learn to crochet... so we spent the first hour teaching and she spent the next two days doing.

It was my Dad's birthday too.  We spent the evening celebrating at and Airbnb.  We had dinner, went swimming, chatted, etc...

These two found a place to read Brandon Sanderson

Ada and Alexx drove up a couple days early in our van.  The AC was broken and they drove almost 8 hours in July in the heat.

Go Jump in the Lake.

My momma and her siblings.  We missed Dar in the picture, but she was there too.

Thea and Viv loved Jessie little girl.  They were head over heels for her.

Doug and Linda

Lynda and Barbara

Liz and her grandbaby

When we got home, Vinn thought that we smelled particularly well and kept rolling around on Evelyn's bag.

Lance took this picture of the sunset.  He and Ada did a photo contest.  It was cute.

Mark restored the bell that Seth and Vivien found with a metal detector.  It was Great-Grandma Harding's.

Liz won this handprint sheet in 1992 with all the cousins and Grandparents that were present.  Sharon had paint and Liz's boyfriend had a sheet that he donated and we did the activity again.

Rhees Family

This is such a fun family.  They're sweet and playful.  It's fun to get to know them and try not to freeze in the cold rain!  It was...
