Ward Halloween Party

Our Ward had their Halloween trunk or treat. Jer and Sam had to miss it.  They were doing their 10 mile training run.

misc

Sam was asked to fill in as Ward Chorister while they looked for a replacement. He did well too. Especially since the first song they threw at him was in 6/4 time.

Jer and Sam training for their 1/2 marathon in Nov.

All three of these marvellous Priests decided to give their testimonies of Jesus Christ.  I am going to miss all their faces while they are missionaries, but one in particular.

We've had a lot of rain.... and a lot of snow in the mountains.  We're so grateful and wet.

Seth had Xander, Zak and Chris (his three elementary besties) over to play volleyball.  They are as cute as ever!

random

Silly big kids.  We were ready to play games before bed and they were being all giggly.

We had an amazing D&D session.  It was so funny.  There were magic potions, size changing badgers, ninjago snake guys, etc.... it was fun.

Sam and Jer and training for a half marathon together.  It's Sam's first one, but Jer said that he's doing amazingly.

Evelyn and I got to go on a temple date together to the Mt Timp temple.  That was fun.  I haven't been to that one in ages.

My mom, Evelyn and I went to the Snow White ballet together.  It was so cute.  Evelyn LOVED the dwarfs and was talking about how she would love one of their roles and how she knew which dwarf was which.  It was fun to be with these two wonderful women.

Jer and I went to the symphony with Jim, Amy, Jon and Isabelle (first time goer).  It was pretty and rainy.... including a double rainbow right above the newly finished (outside) Salt Lake temple.

But along with the rain, our neighborhood flooded again.  Our house, our neighbor's home and the row of town homes all needed to be bailed out.  Nick made the comment, "Thank you for coming to our annual 100 year storm clean up.  I really wish that we could nail down a day for it."

Jim and Jer working on trains.

Evelyn and I have been seeing a specialist about her eyes.  They want to detach the muscles from both eyes, straighten them out and reattach them again.  She's trying to decide what to do.  I'm trying to research the surgeon.

Grandpa's birthday and photos from my phone

Jer took us to the stake center to fold the flag.  That was fun.

Ada's libraries were installed in the parks!  They look great.

My friend's cat kept smelling me and staring at me.  It was funny.

I got to visit with my friends from High School. Rebecca, Sherry and Sharon.  I loved it.

Ada and Jer got to do the mud run with the Hansens.  They sent me some awesome after photos when they were done.  I'll have to get them from my phone.

We got to celebrate my Dad's birthday together with dinner, a game and good conversation.

My cate kept walking under my stained glass window and I loved all the colors.

My girls sang the camp song with the YW.

Sharon made this cute cake for Dad.

Moab trail run

Jer's knee/back is doing well enough that he registered for and ran his favorite race ever.  He loves the Moab trail run.  Ada went with him to make sure that Dad made it home in one piece.  I'm very grateful she was willing to do so.  The rest of us went to Vivien's baptism.  I played the music, Evelyn and Seth were the witnesses and Sam helped grandma lead the music.  It was a blessing to be a part of. I've got pictures on my camera.  I'll upload a couple later today.

After the race, they chose to stop by Arches and go on a couple of hikes.  They loved their time and took some awesome pictures.

Everybody was kung fu fighting

Rhees Family

This is such a fun family.  They're sweet and playful.  It's fun to get to know them and try not to freeze in the cold rain!  It was...
