Father's Day

Father's Day, Amy made an amazing dinner and hosted everyone at their place.  It was very fun.

Father's Day

This father has put up with a lot from me this year and he's handling everything so well.  I love him dearly.  The kids made his favorite pancakes in the shape of a train.  We "tricked" all the guys in the ward into wearing the same tie to church.  It was fun to see all the guys giggle as they realized that they were all matching.  I didn't get a picture of it and I really should have.  The Primary sang The Family is of God.

Randoms from while they were gone

Ada and Sam were gone for FSY. The house was quiet, there were fewer dishes and we missed them completely. We took an evening bike ride to check on the Lindon temple.  It's looking amazing. Then it almost rained on us.

We're reading Way of Kings. Seth and Evelyn choose to call snake grass "Knobweed".

We had a power outage that lasted for about 3 hours. Seth doesn't remember having one before, so it was new and adventurous for him. Evelyn was nervous.

The cats love the girls dirty laundry.

The first day I had off from work for the summer, I took Seth and Evelyn to meet up with Rose, Jack and Axel at the Lindon Pool. We were there for 6 hours and got thoroughly sun baked.

Scripture study

Evelyn got her first tutu and is thrilled!  She also asked me to teach her to shave in preparation for the ballet.

My ongoing project.  I was gifted a stained glass window class for my birthday/mother's day.  I've loved it.

We took Maura and Alexx out for her birthday. It was fun to chat and be together.

This wonderful father... for father's day received a shirt that was designed and made by Ada in Commercial Art.

Ada's turned into a gardener... but she had an allergic reaction to something... this spread all over her leg.

Evelyn's Acro outfit.  She's a high flyer in the Suessical Circus.

Father's Day

I thoroughly believe that this man is my perfect match.  I could not have chosen a better one.  He is a testament to the importance of the Holy Ghost.  He's the kindest and most patient man ever.  His goodness makes me try harder constantly.   Happy Father's Day Jeremy and soon to be happy 13th anniversary!

Father's Day

I didn't get a chance to do a Father's Day post, but we did celebrate it.  We love our Dad very much.  He's a good man, a worthy Priesthood holder and the most patient husband.

We got more time with Dad because his morning meetings were pushed back a little in the morning, but we still came home while he was finishing up at the church.  Someone was passing out Krispy Kreme hats and my kids thought that was pretty funny.

Father's Day #2

Father's Day

We've had the most exciting three weeks so I didn't much feel like anything special on Father's Day, but I have to say that we do have one amazing Father.  This year is our 10 year anniversary, and it seems like we just met.  Jer loves me and the kids unconditionally.  He's amazing with playing with our babies and keeping them learning good things.  He loves our crazy adventures and projects. He's an amazing Scout leader and I'm impressed as I listen in on their meetings... he urges these little 12 year olds to become planners and leaders.  He keeps me having fun and listens to all my rants and opinions.  He loves me whether I'm thin or fat. He supports me as I try to be healthy and teach the kids to be healthy... he even eats veggies just so that the kids will.  I love how Jer is always listening to Conference talks as he cooks in the kitchen and I love that he's always ready to help others and worthy for any priesthood duties. My favorite moments are when he looks at our babies with adoration. Jer, I've loved the last 10 years and I'm looking forward to several decades more.

Rhees Family

This is such a fun family.  They're sweet and playful.  It's fun to get to know them and try not to freeze in the cold rain!  It was...
