Painting and Trek

Ada and I painted at Thanksgiving Point.  That was fun and we're planning on it again.

Ada and Sam went to Stake Trek this year.  I'm proud of them. In a day and age that our youth aren't asked to do difficult or uncomfortable things, they did.  They both were part of the music groups and both came home saying that it was a good experience.

Ada painted her bucket like the beach at Bear Lake.... Sam wrote SR in big red letters.

This was my trek.  The one on the right here is my cousin Tiffany.

This is the only picture of me from Trek.

The rest of the week shenanigans

I took the cats to the vet for their vaccinations.  They meowed and held on to each other the whole way.

Sam had a couple of cavities filled. Two days later his lip was still swollen from the shots. They might still be, but he's at Stake Trek so I'll ask when he gets home tomorrow.

Poor swollen lip.

This Evelyn makes me laugh. She had a dress rehearsal, and you'd think she'd be all excited.... but she's more excited about the book.

I tried asking her a question and this was the look she gave me.

Showered and resting

Off to Trek. I'm excited and I hope it's a good experience for them. Ada is wearing the skirt my mom made me for my trek.

Ada's bucket is the beach on the left. Sam's is the one with the big red R on it.  These are their "luggage".

Easter Egg Hunt

This year, I had Rosie and Peter overnight and it just so happened that it was also our neighborhood easter egg hunt. They had a blast and my kids loved being their helpers. Ada and Sam were at the Stake Trek breakfast.  They told me that it was fun and they met their trek families.

Rhees Family

This is such a fun family.  They're sweet and playful.  It's fun to get to know them and try not to freeze in the cold rain!  It was...
