Jer's highlight is always getting to the highest peak and if he does it by foot, even better. Because it was Sunday, we drove up the volcano, but we did take a quick hike over to see the crater. That was so cold because of the wind blowing. It was so pretty though.

We had a picnic dinner and stayed on the summit to see the sunset. It was gorgeous and very cold.
The kids kept coming to cuddle up to me to get warm. I kept thinking of Christ saying, "As a hen gathers her chicks."
Evelyn was so cold, but she wanted to "hold" the sun.
