Evelyn had befriended the snuba instructor from the boat on our first day. She told us that we had to go to Ho'okipa beach while we were here. Visually it was my favorite of the beaches that we visited. Sand wise, it was the hardest sand to walk on. Jer walked down to the end and there were some turtles, so we went down to where he was. At first it looked like a bunch of rocks, but we could count at least 25 turtles when we realized what we were looking at. The waves were spectacular. There was also a very strong riptide but there was a little shelf of rock that made a smaller kid friendly pool. We kept our kids in that one. I don't think any of them can deal with a riptide yet.
There was a little cafe on the side of the road where Evelyn was finally able to try drinking from a coconut. It was NOT her favorite, but it was on her list of something she wanted to try. I used to drink them all the time on my mission, but I was used to the taste. Everyone else would take a couple of sips and say yuck. That's why I only bought two of them instead of one for everyone.
I included this one because of Seth's cute arm around his sister.
Ada and Dad were "fighting" over a stick.
