Black sands beach was a huge highlight. It was not a recommended beach for swimming because of strong currents, so we let them play in the waves up to their knees. We hadn't planned to go swimming at all, so we ended up very wet in our clothes. It was one of Sam's favorite beaches though. We hiked down into the beach, played there and then hiked up onto the headland before getting washed up to get back into the car.
Ada pointed out that she matched the beach.
There was a little sea cave too.
This was what Seth's pockets looked like after playing on the beach. We dumped it out, but there was sand EVERYWHERE!
