In Nagoya we LOVED the chance to go to Ghibli Park. It was rough getting the tickets, but it all worked out. When Jer and I tried to get them a month ago, we tried to get the all access tickets. We had to buy them in two batches because they only allow you to buy 6 tickets at a time. We had them in the cart and by the time we added all the passport info the tickets had been sold out. We ended up getting the partial park tickets. We did the parts that we could and the last hour that the park was open, they let everyone in to see the rest of the park because they went and asked if they could just look really quick. It was so fun.
This is Sam, Evelyn, Seth and Jer getting left in Ponyo's water trail.
Princess Mononoke
They had Sophie's hat shop. The hats were simple, but it was really cute.
"Boop"
This was the coolest animatronic ship from Castle in the Sky. The paddles and tillers all moved and the ship would raise and lower while we watched it.
The parrots from The Boy and the Heron were hiding knives behind their backs.

Spirited Away
The catbus was my favorite. Seth loved it too.... and he's decided that if we ever dress our cat Tigress up for anything, it will be as the catbus.
We're not sure what this scene is from. We'll have to do some research.
The pictures of Porco were my absolute favorites.
This cute couple took some pictures for us so that we could all be in this one.
Jer loved this donut place... mostly because of the name, but the donuts were pretty good too.
Heavy Heen. Heen in my favorite character in all the movies. I have a little stuffed one on my computer desk. They were selling some big ones in the gift shop that I would have been willing to carry around Japan, but they were sold out. It was probably for the best.
