Osaka Castle was pretty intense and took an entire day. It was very neat.
About half the clothes out to dry.
My kids being patient with my weirdness.
This was the final damage.
We promised the kids one sushi dinner while we were there. We were trying to find japanese pancakes and ended with a rotating sushi bar. Our kids, especially Evelyn and Seth, love this.
Sam and Ada tried squid. Neither of them were very happy with it, but they were both happy to try something new. I had eel. I love eel and eel sauce.
This was the favorite snack we at the whole trip.... Beef steak steak skewers.... that's what the menu said. They were yummy. We got skirt steak and kobe beef ones and we were split 50/50 which was better.
Just as we were leaving, the sun hit the castle just perfect.
Jer held his phone up kind of high and had each of the kids jump into the shot. They were cute to watch.
I think this was "One size fits all"
My samurai
Photo courtesy of Ada. I was taking two pictures... One was the building and its reflection. The second was a comparison between a 300-year-old castle and the skyscrapers.
There was a playground. The kids loved getting a chance to let loose and have a fun running moment.
It said to "walk this way"
Seth loved watching the train conductors. Whenever we were next to the driver, he'd go observe.
