Graveyards

About half of the stops that we made were to different graveyards.  Hurricane, Toquerville, Cedar City, etc...
Grandpa had made a few dozen applesauce cookies that he shared throughout the weekend. The kids all saluted the end of the last cookies as they were handed out.

The north side of Zion's park. We stopped for lunch and a quick hike.

There was one single picnic bench hidden away in the middle of the parking lot round about.  You would never know that it was there.

Our van's tire pressure light kept blinking, but it was okay every time we checked it.  Grandpa's tire had a gash in it though.  Jer and Grandpa taught Sam, Ada and Joe how to change a tire.

This is Grandma's sister that is buried in Hurricane.

Grandma mentioned that she always laid flowers on her sister's and the little baby's grave next to her sister.  She was sad that she hadn't had a chance to buy flowers this time.  There were exactly two roses on a wild rose bush in the cemetery so Grandma and Ada put them on the two babies graves.

The kids got to see their first Great-grandparents up to their 5th Great grandparents grave sights.
