This fall soccer season has been a strange on all the way around. Sam is driving himself to his own games and practices, which means we can get more done around the house, but I personally haven't seen a single one of his games yet. I'm going to have to make an effort to get to at least one. Jer went to one and took some pictures. That was nice. He's on a team with Enzo, but he didn't really know anyone else this season. They've been playing well together though and they've won most of their games.
Seth's playing with the same coach and with Jack. On the one hand, it's nice to have consistency, but I think the coach is tired of coaching. He's a little meaner in his words and blows off practices more often than before. Seth tried being goalie this last time. That's good that he's reaching outside his normal comfort zone. He's only going to be playing in 3 of the fall games. That's disappointing to me, but Seth doesn't mind. He had a Robertson family thing, a Wilcox family thing and a big trip coming up. Spring time will be more consistent.
I can't remember what Seth's team name is, but he got jersey number 8 again. He loves that it's the same number as last year.
Sam's team is the Hornets. We were joking that they should be "Number 1"... because they're yellow and then I can yell "Go Number 1!" He said that as long as they don't have to go number 2 then that's good with him.
