Jer asked Judy about a year ago if she could show us around family history in Southern Utah. It finally found a time that would work for all of us and we got to take Joe with us too. The pictures of the first day posted upside down, but here are some of my favorite ones. My favorite two things were visiting Diane and Errol and swimming in the spring that Grandma loved. Jer loved climbing in the Nevada state park.
We also got to drive by one of the mines that Judy's Dad worked in. It was closed so we couldn't tour it, but it was neat anyways.
After visiting with Errol, we drove over to explore Cathedral Cliffs and have lunch. All the kids said they would love to come back and come early enough to explore before it gets hot.
Our first stop into town was 9 mile rock. This one was important because it's where Judy's awesome youth group would get together for hanging out and testimony meetings. They would joke that the girls needed the guys to cook otherwise they would starve, so the girls got together and as a joke, brought tv dinners to cook in the fire... besides the sand that ended up in them, it was a great joke. It's also the area that grandma's family would cut down their Christmas tree and the road that the pioneers used to get to the St George temple.
