We have been promising Ada and Evelyn horse back riding for almost two years now. It just never worked. So, we just went all as a family. Jer found a company that would do a horse back ride and a river rafting ride on the same day. Everyone loved it except Sam. He was fine except his allergies to hay went crazy and his head and eyes looked exceptionally terrible. He was very emotional the whole ride, but we got him changed out of his clothes, washed off and he felt much better. Evelyn's horse kept stopping to eat, Seth's horse was being led by the guide, Jer's horse wanted to be the leader and tried to keep getting in front of Seth, Ada's horse wanted to make it's own path, mine was great but didn't want to speed up if I asked her to. It was gorgeous to see up on the mountain. I think Seth has an allergy to something too, because after we were done on the horses his face swelled a little and his eyes were red. It kept threatening to rain, but it didn't until after we were done river rafting. After horse back riding, we drove down to the river and got on the river raft. Everyone said that river rafting was their favorite thing that we did the whole trip. We had our own raft because of COVID-19. Sam was giggling the whole time and kept getting out of the raft to swim whenever possible. I kept pulling him back into the boat and I think I pulled something in my hip. I couldn't walk the next day. We saw an osprey and female elk crossed right behind us in the river.
