Prismatic springs is one of the ones that I was most excited to see. It was spectacular. I had no idea that the colors were little micro organisms that live in the springs at different temperatures. That was a neat tidbit.
I feel like this was the one place that it was hardest to social distance. Small walkways and lots of people.
If you look in this one, you can see the elk or bison prints. This was a few days later. There is an over look that you can get to by hiking a mile up the fairy fall trail head. It was worth it. So pretty. Just as we got there Sam fell and scrapped his hands and knees. Jer took him back to the car to wash him up and get him bandaged. Then Ada saw some pheasants or quail like birds with their babies and took a million pictures. Ada remembered a joke that our river rafting guide was telling us and dubbed the birds Canadian Turkeys. I got 50 mosquito bites on this particular hike while no one else got any. Hmmmm. Something's going on with my blood I guess.
