After saying goodbye in Maryland, we drove the hour and a half south to my brother's place in Virginia. These kids were sure glad to see each other again. We met up with them at Mount Vernon before heading to their place for the night. It was hot and not very wheelchair friendly, but I liked seeing it and hearing about George Washington. Jer loved the chance to visit George Washington's grave. My parents had come out to visit my brother for a week and our visits happened to overlap so it was a fun party all around.

All the rest of the pictures from here down at Mount Vernon were taken by Michelle. She's getting pretty good. I let her use my camera about a year ago and she wants to borrow it every time I have it out now.
(Whoops, this one was from Mount Rushmore but I got it mixed in here.)
This is about how Seth felt about the day.
A lot of Mount Vernon was under renovation too.

Sophie and I hung back and caught up with each other as we walked. I sure love my sister in laws.

The three amigos
Aubrey had some hair chalk and was so cute sharing it around with everyone. I know it's not always easy to share with so many, but she handled it so very kindly. Thanks Aubs!
