So, I never really buy things online... every now and then I get stuff from Amazon, but just this once... I used another website, but she's connected to ebay and to paypal... So, she cancelled the order because she couldn't find one of the two items ordered... She never asked if I wanted the other one or if I would accept a replacement for the one that she couldn't find... She just said, "Sorry, I can't find the one..." Nice. Oh well, I can live without... I'd rather not do business with someone who doesn't communicate with me very well. Then I got an email from PayPal to rate the transaction with her. I didn't think I was rude... Jer says that I was... I wasn't trying to be... I was trying to be honest about my "transaction".
Here's what I said:
She canceled on me. She couldn't find one of the items. Instead of shipping the other she cancelled.
Then here's the response that I got back to my PERSONAL email account... not through the rating section of PayPal... : (I'm editing a couple of words... but you can probably guess what they are...)
wow really??? How can you be so rude to neg me and bring my ratings down on my store without even TELLING me you wanted the other pony. What kind of world is it where a buyer can do something so absolutely rude. Did you even READ my terms and conditions. I have a massive collection of ponies and health problems. I'd like to see you do a better job, sometimes when you have 600+ ponies things tend to get lost. Thanks for being an ******* for no reason. I should neg you on all the boards, even the score. Sound good??? I'm sure you have some great social skills in the real world! is that how you deal with things? Passive aggressive **.
Nice... I wonder if she knows that I manage an online business and have for almost 4 years... and I have never treated a customer or even a potential customer like that... if there is a misunderstanding I say sorry and go my way. How does this negative criticism to my personal email solve any problem? (By the way... I checked on PayPal, to remove a negative comment from your list... you contact the customer with whom you've had the problem... solve it and then have the customer email PayPal and remove the negative rating... I would have been willing to do that... now I'm sure as heck not. I'd rather people know the kind of person they're paying than not.)

Holy cow! That woman has some issues. I am assuming she does not work with that many people. I did not think your comment was rude. You were being truthful about your transaction with her.
I don't think your comment was rude. I think the woman was mentally ill. Still, I think an email like that would shake me up a bit.
What website was that, so I know never to buy anything from there? I don't think you overstepped you bounds at all. The world is full of crazies.
you were NOT rude. your comment was definitely warranted and explained what happened.
that lady was SUCH AN EFFIN JERK! seriously, that is the rudest email I have ever read. I am so sorry you had to deal with that. You should post THAT email on pay pal. see how her ratings go from there...
I was trying to buy some old My Little Ponies (I don't like the new ones... they look like anime and all they do on their show is have parties all the time.) Ada has really gotten into them... to the point where she's had me help her make a cardboard house, a bed and several blankets for them... the site that I tried to use was
