For my Dad's birthday, most years we either end up at Bear Lake or at Cascade Springs. This year was Cascade Springs. It was lovely, even though you could tell it was a hard year for water. We did pictures and mostly they turned out okay. It's funny though. When I do pictures for other people, I make sure that everyone's in just the right spot, glasses off, faces seen... but when I do one that I have to be in... I guess my attention doesn't split that way. Sorry Mom and Dad! Happy Birthday Dad! It was fun and we were glad to be a part of it. You do so many amazing things and I'm excited to see what else might come next.
This is the Ada smile that I love to see... and it's the one that I get mostly when she's out hiking and exploring.

This one's a special place for these people. My mom and dad came on their first date up here, my mom lost her shoe down the river, and it got dark so they "had" to hold hands on the way back to the car.
All 9 (soon to be 10) grandkids. Sharon's having a girl by the way! That makes it 5 and 5.
These are just some of the awesome samples of my family this time around. Here I am with crazy hair, Ada whining and Sam goofing.
Here's me still with crazy hair and trying to wrestle a grumpy baby, an unhappy Ada, and an adopted son. (Jordan saw us taking pictures and photobombed.)
Me again with crazy hair, everyone pretty decent, and a character packed Evelyn. (the other one like this she looks like an Egyptian.)
Playing pooh sticks.
Saw after that I should have had McKay over by Seth, but not bad for us old fogies.
And my ultimate favorite picture of the day.

That looks like a lovely place, and almost all my family photos seem like yours, either someone is goofing off, has crazy hair, or a bomber showed up.
