Ellis Family Reunion

My Grandpa Ellis' family reunion was this last Monday.  It was fun to see Aunts and Uncles as well as my second cousins and my mom's cousins.  I LOVE reunions.  I think they are a great way to swap stories, get to know relatives and catch up with loved ones.  Ada made some new friends with 3rd cousins, Evelyn loved playing with Deanne Olson's daughter and I loved the family history things (featuring Ezekial Lee who was a doctor in the 1800s) that they had on display.

This kid LOVES watermelon, and I hate holding it for him while he gets me all sticky... this was a good result.  He kept sliding his teeth back and forth on it.  Too cute.  But then he got bored and wandered off... my mom's cousin brought him back with tears just streaming down his face.

This is Chris Quincy and my Aunt Diane Ladwig

These are my Aunt and Uncle Beth and Son Le.  I was born on Beth's birthday.  I even look a little like her.  She used to joke that my mom got her baby and my mom would say, "Get your own."

This is my Uncle Mark Ellis.  They were telling stories of dog BBQ for a Vietnamese delicacy here in the states.

Deanne Olson's 4 year old playing with my 4 year old.  I love that she has to bend down to be on Evelyn's level.

I love this.  Jer said, "Come on Seth let's get a drink." And there's Seth standing with one shoe on and one shoe off.

Me, Carol and Mark Ellis, Diane Ladwig, Beth and Son Le

Margaret Pryor Williams and Rosemary Wilson, my Grandpa's sisters.

Rhees Family

This is such a fun family.  They're sweet and playful.  It's fun to get to know them and try not to freeze in the cold rain!  It was...
