hmmm
Well, this morning I had been planning on talking about how I love my new vacuum and how it picked up stuff that my other one wouldn't... Then I had one of the I'd rather not be your mom right now moments that have been happening more and more often... Don't worry, I'll be fine and the kids will too... it's just hard not to be mad at them for being little kids sometimes. Sammy wants to crawl so bad that it's frustrating to him to feel like he can't do it... so he cries. Ada doesn't get what she wants, so she cries and gets sent to bed. I fold all the laundry for Ada to unfold half of it, climb in a basket and insist on a ride around the room. Ada goes downstairs to get a game and comes up with pee all the way down both legs and starts running around the kitchen... so not only do I get to clean up her, but also her pee foot prints across the kitchen and go downstairs to find out that there's a whole walking path of pee because she kept going while she was peeing... so I got to shampoo the toy room and family room while Ada sat crying in time out. I finish doing the dishes, turn around and see that Ada's gotten out all of her toys from the toy drawer in the kitchen and spred them all over in the room I had just picked up. I think I feel a lot like Heaven Father did when He said, "If you love me keep my commandments." Ada refused to help me clean up her mess and insists that I do it for her, then she turns around and says ,"I love you mommy." I'm not so sure... I let her play with her toys, but why is it that she never wants to play with them when they're already on the floor but she HAS to play with them if I just picked them up?

I'm sorry your day has been so lousy! I love you!
I'm sorry Rosanne! I always wonder what I was thinking back in the day when I wanted to color on the wall or cut my hair off. This too shall pass... :) P.S. The red wall in my pic is down by Pierpont Avenue and 400 West.
If it any consolation I have those days all the time! And I am going to have three - was I insane to want more kids. Ash is so destructive, he has to bang or break everything, and Emma is so whinny that I swear she could spend her life in time-out on her bed too. I think all mom's feel that way. I keep reminding myself that they really do love me, have no idea why rooms have to be clean, have no concept of germs, and will someday be 16 and wrecking my car. Then I will miss the days when it was just pee all over the floor! At least you can clean that up.
