Warning... Potty talk.

So Ada was sitting on the potty and she always tells me how big her poop is.  "Mommy, big poops." or "Mommy, little poops."  This time she said, "Mommy, little poops... oohhh cute."

Ruth used to always take a look at hers and label them "Mommy, Daddy, and Baby ones". It is cute and disgusting. These are the sort of stories they will never want you to tell their fiances.

um that is SOOO Funny. if grace would poop in the toilet we might be having conversations like this. but intead I just keep throwing away poopy underwear.

my mom said that her friends would smear the poop on the kids leg if they pooped their pants, and it only took one or two times of that happening to poop in the toilet.... sounds terrible! but...if it works....maybe...

Yeah... but that almost seems like punishing yourself... yuck! Ada did it just fine until she decided that it was easier to pee/poop in her panties and have me clean her up. I tried to give incentives like treats, watching little Einsteins, etc... but the only thing that has got her telling us that she has to go, and then going in the potty was something that Diane suggested. A time out. Everytime she wets her panties I clean her up, get her dressed and put her in time out. Since we don't do time outs for anything else she thinks it's pretty drastic and she's started to tell us when she needs to go potty again! Yay! I hope it'll keep working.
