Tuesday we got packed up, checked out of the Airbnb and tried to decide what we could do that we wouldn't have to shower afterwards. We were going to rent bikes, but it was very hot for the first time on the trip. We ended up going back to the Ocean Center to get a mug for Jer to bring home. We met a woman that has been quarantined in California for over a year and had just come out of quarantine to go on a trip with her sister and brother in laws. She insisted on getting our kids a gift. Usually I don't say yes to offers like that, but she really needed an outlet. She works on a playground with kids and she hasn't seen them or her grandkids for over a year. I let each of the kids choose something small/reasonable. Ada got a water bottle, Sam got a t shirt and Evelyn and Seth got little stuffed animals.
After lunch we went mini golfing, which was so fun. The first half of the course is in the sun though and it was SO hot! The second half was all shaded and great. We kept seeing little lizards popping out to run across the green areas.
After a yummy dinner at Coconut Fish Cafe, we drove around to finish our book for an hour and went to check in at the airport. We flew out at 10:45pm... I usually can sleep on the airplane, but this time I really couldn't. Jer didn't sleep either, but the kids all got a decent 5 or so hours of sleep. Then we all took a nap at the airport while waiting for our flight back to Utah. I did sleep on that flight, so I got a good 3 or so hours of sleep. My wonderful parents came and picked us up from the airport, got us some lunch and we made our way sleepily home. Everyone showered, put away their suitcase stuff, said hi to animals and promptly crashed in front of the tv. It was a fun adventure and I can't wait for the next one. Hopefully one that we can sleep during next time.

They also had a giant trampoline and a rock wall. Each of the kids got one ticket with their mini golf game. Sam and Evelyn chose to use their tickets on the trampoline. Seth and Dad used theirs on the rock wall. Ada said it was too hot and let Seth have her ticket to go on the trampoline. He couldn't have been more thrilled.
Ada stole Jer's hat and glasses.
Seth loves doing rock walls. He's so funny though. He will go up really fast and then look down and decide that he's high enough and repel down. Then he'll speed right back up again over and over. One of these days he'll realize that he's capable of going all the way to the top.
I was able to get one picture of both Seth and Jer on the rock wall together.
Look at those kids' cheeks. They were so hot after the first half of the golf course.
If this thing were cheaper, it would have been Ada's carry on luggage. It's soft and squishy and the legs have a soft spring in them.
