Here are the rest
Here are the rest of Becca and James' pictures... I think I got a couple of them too bright in places, but I'm starting to get the coloring a little more subtle, and part of this exercise is to learn how do more in photoshop (some of these probably look better as the origanls... but that defeats my purpose!).
Ada's photoshoot
We were actually on our way out the door, but Ada saw me carrying the camera and said, "Take a picture of me Mommy..." So I did... we didn't really do her hair or prepare anything... but it was cute of her to ask. And I kind of like this picture of Sammy and the 3 musketeers playing Uno.
He's so excited isn't he!
I think her expression is hilarious in this one!
here are some samples
I love how Rocky is looking at their hands like this is the coolest thing EVER!
I think I have to say that this is my favorite one... They were so cute!
I like this one a lot, but my favorite one is still to come (the favorite of the whole family at least).
Well, Becca and James' family let me take their pictures on Saturday! I loved it, and the lighting was gorgeous, and they wore the cutest colors for Spring... I want to post a ton of the pictures but I'm still in process of playing with some of them in photoshop... so here are the ones that I'm done with. (I think I played with some of them too much actually... but overall I think they turned out well!)
THANKS BECCA!

My proper Grandma
I have a grandma who is very proper and lady like at all times... She's the kind of person who would literally rather die of a heart attack than let you see her without her wig on... but she gave me this poem and I think it's hilarious!
GONNA BE A BEAR
In this life I'm a woman. In my next life, I'd like to come back as a bear. When you're a bear, you get to hibernate. You do nothing but sleep for six months. I could deal with that.
Before you hibernate, you're supposed to eat yourself stupid. I could deal with that too.
When you're a girl bear, you birth your children (who are the size of walnuts) shile you're sleeping and wake to partially grown, cute, cuddly cubs. I could definitely deal with that.
If you're mama bear, everyone know you mean business. You swat anyone who bothers your cubs. If your cubs get out of line, you swat them too. I could deal with that.
If you're a bear, your mate EXPECTS you to wake up growling. He EXPECTS that you will have hairy legs and excess body fat.
Yup, gonna be a bear!
Sooo I didn't mean to take credit
So I didn't mean to take credit for washing the windows... I didn't... Jer did and he did a marvelous job! Just the way I phrased it made it sound like he watched the kids while I did it... Actually neither of us really watched the kids... they were going in and out between the both of us and I made cookies for my Primary Class because it was my co-teachers birthday. And... Jer changed all the diapers on Mother's day too... I know... I'm spoiled rotten! And I love him for it!

My mother's day
So I'm sure that you all really want to hear about my day... considering the fact that we all want our own mother's day to go well, do you really want to hear about mine? Well, mine was amazing so I have to share. It started yesterday... Jer watched kids while I ran and cleaned our windows inside and out! They look amazing and I love it! Then Jer watched kids again while I got to go on a fun photo shoot with Becca and James' family... That was fun and the pictures of their kids turned out really cute especially... They bought us desserts from our favorite dessert place called "The Chocolate" and we watched Sherlock Holmes. Then this morning... Jer brought me an omelet in bed and got both kids dressed and ready for church. The Elders Quorum took over the Primary so I got to go to Relief Society. Ada was a pill for about 5 minutes after church... but luckily it was naptime so I sent her to bed without feeling guilty about it. We got to spend the afternoon playing games, eating dinner and watching movies with my wonderful family. And now... kids are out and I'm on the computer. LOVE IT! (PS... I'm going to post pictures of the shoot later... I'm done for the night. Thanks all for the wonderful day!)

Congrats Jer!
Yay Jer! He and his sister Emily were drawn to run the St George Marathon! Jer's wanted to do this one for a couple years! I'm glad he gets to and sooner than we both thought!

Nice day with Sammy
Well, today was a run around day... insuring, saftey and emissions testing, and registering the car. Visiting Sophie! She got back from packing her house up in Georgia. Teaching piano lessons and weeding our front flower beds. But... the best part was that I very rarely have enough time to spend more that a few minutes one on one with Sammy... But Sophie and Janelle took Ada to play with Devin and Aubrey during my piano lessons. And Sammy helped me "weed" in between lessons. It was fun to let him smush the dirt in his curious hands and eat it and crawl around looking at all the flowers. He had a blast and I love watching him.
And on another note... his newest favorite things to do are sing "Five little Ducks" where he quacks and waves both his hands. He also asks me to sing it by quacking... and he's fallen in love with a specific blanket. He holds it and eats it with his front 4 teeth. Cute!

Blog2book
I'm laughing at this ad that keeps popping up when I've just posted an entry. It's for Blog2book and it says that they can print your blog into a hardback or softback book starting at $15. WELL, I can beat that. Mightyauthors.com (where I work) can print it in hardback, softback, heirloom or spiral bound starting at $8 a book. Sweet!
Fast and Testimony meeting
I'm so glad! Today was Fast and Testimony meeting and our kids were both really good... we actually got to hear the majority of the testimonies. Ada heard some too. She kept turning to me and telling me that, "That girl is sad." or some other comment about what they'd said. My favorite was that she kept telling me that one of the ladies that was crying was sad... so I tried to explain that she wasn't sad but that she loved Jesus and Jesus loved her. She looked at me weird and said, "That girl is sad. She's crying." I guess that's what I get for telling her to stop crying all the time... (especially because half the time I ask her why she's crying she says, "I'm just crying because I'm sad... " and I tell her that she should be happy and that we don't just cry.) I about cracked up though. Ada was drawing and said, "Mommy look! This is like a peanut!" Don't know why she was drawing a peanut... but there you go.
