Because our cabin is an extended family property, we all pitch in for bills and work projects. Currently, we are building a set of three new bathrooms. One set of cousins put in the plumbing, one poured the cement, one built the outside of it... they're putting together the insides now.... and we waterproofed and painted the outside while we were there. And built an outdoor show for rinsing off after swimming. My parents made sur that Evelyn had a birthday song and a birthday banner. It was cute. And we went for shakes for her birthday dessert.
I was joking that they looked like that Gothic Americana painting... and then there was a giant lightning strike that surprised the heck out of us.
These two updated the first aid kit.
We worked so hard that we went to enjoy some pizza afterwards.
Jer serviced the lawn mower.
