My mom was visiting McKay's family and the kids asked if we could go to the temple again as a group. So we did. Sam couldn't make it. He had his State Jazz competition. All the groups that he competed in got 1's and he mostly had a great time. The rest of us went with McKay's family and Grandma and Grandpa. The baptismal font here is unique and I quite like the murals around the top of the room. It's the only one that I've seen with a mural of the serpent on a pole. Then we went and had some dinner while we chatted. Ada and I stayed while everyone jetted off to Payson to pick up some train stuff for Jer and his dad. Ada did an assessment on Aubrey while we were there. It was so funny. It reminded me of when they were little and they'd pretend to be dead and drag each other around the basement. I loved seeing Isaiah baptizing McKay for the first time. It was a sweet moment to see them standing side by side.
My parents took me and Ada home to practice the organ, grocery shop for the upcoming daycare week, clean the house and pick up Sam from his competition. Busy big kids are no joke. There wasn't any time for Ada to go to an FSY reunion that was being held or the senior dinner from her school.
