Well...

I had some cute and funny stories that Ada's been doing lately, but I can't remember what they are now.  I'll talk about church the week before last instead.

I was invited to talk to the Young Women about being a stay at home mother, what it means to me, and how we support each other as husbands and wives.  It's a little ironic because I'm probably the typical stay at home mom... though I feel like I'm not.  I HATE housework, cooking, changing dirty diapers and smelling like spit up all the time.  But I do it anyways.  The reason why I do it is because I have fallen in love with my family.  Jeremy is wonderful and helps me with everything.  Ada is cute and spunky.  And Sammy is the most sensitive little cuddler ever.  I do things I always thought were boring and redundant because of them.  That is my eternal perspective.

I always thought that I was above housework and that these things were boring and mundane too. I always thought I would have a big family and that we would have tons of money and take trips a lot and have a maid etc. But as it turns I have a big family and we have no money and no maid. But we are still really happy.

I agree... we are still so blessed and incredibly happy. I never though I was above cleaning... but working as a janitor 4-6 hours a day for 5 years (on top of school and a second job) kind of put a damper on my enthusiasm for it.

Rhees Family
