Coming home

I love this man.

I thought that this gas station was so funny. (Nebraska)

We got to stop and visit Mary and Jeff for an hour on the way home.  I loved saying hi.  It was fun.  We even played a giant game of splendor.

Samuel is officially taller than our Sam.

City Museum

Jer and I have been here together 2-3 times and wanted to come back when our kids were older.  We did!  It was so fun. It was Seth's first time and Ada's the only one of the other three that remember it slightly. They've built out in the last 11 years since our last visit... and a lot busier than before, but still worth it.
This is Seth "being afraid" of the bus on the roof.

This is where Evelyn got lost 11 years ago.  She went through a tunnel and didn't come out the other end.  It took us 30 minutes to find her again.  So of course we needed a picture of her there now.

These guys are fearless!

Ada hurt her head here too.  The two big hits within a couple of days, I hope she doesn't have a concussion.

I followed them around and did very minor climbing, but that means that I got pictures of them doing ALL the climbing.

This red slide was the coolest thing.  Funny thing is that I didn't see it there.... I was hiking back to meet everyone on the other side and realized I'd passed this one by.  These guys decided to try it out and it ended up being everyone's favorite.

There was a 10 story slide too.... but I think it's been broken for a while.  The kids did a 5 story slide here while I hiked the stairs.

Rhees Family

This is such a fun family.  They're sweet and playful.  It's fun to get to know them and try not to freeze in the cold rain!  It was...
