Father's Day

I didn't get a chance to do a Father's Day post, but we did celebrate it.  We love our Dad very much.  He's a good man, a worthy Priesthood holder and the most patient husband.

We got more time with Dad because his morning meetings were pushed back a little in the morning, but we still came home while he was finishing up at the church.  Someone was passing out Krispy Kreme hats and my kids thought that was pretty funny.

Temple

Jer and I had a temple date the other day, while I don't usually take selfies, we did because of the amazing roses all up the garden.

Last Saturday, I got to say hi to my cousin who was in town for a wedding.  They live up in Idaho.  Luckily we see them once or twice a year, but I got to watch Eric and Audra's kids while they were at the temple.  These two boys are good Bear Lake buddies.... and so are these two girls.

Robertson's house

We always spend lots of time with the Robertson family at this time of year.  This year especially with their deck coming down, all the cousins around and the soon to happen family reunion.

You can see on the left of the picture... all the rocks is where the deck used to be.

Seth and Hal found Grandpa's working hats.

We even got to visit with Ernest, Jer's cousin, that came out for a writing conference.

This one was last night, so we had James and Emily's family visit from Arizona.

Seth and Ian are a few months apart, but they got along well until Seth decided that it was funner to tease than share.  We're working on that...

Mrs. Cavanaugh's tour

This place is literally a couple blocks from where John and Diane used to live.  It's a dollar to do the tour and you get a bunch of samples along the way.  I did a face palm.... If I'd known about it sooner, we could have done that one together.  Thank Sharon for letting us know it exists and Grandma for taking us!

GateWay splash pad

My sister planned a day outing.  I LOVE spending time with my family.  I wish we had more time to coordinate with others.  Between work, family, callings, and have to dos.... we still try to see people often.

We spent the day at the splash pad, ate food truck food and went on a tour of the Mrs Cavanaugh's factory.... which I have pictures of later.

Ada forced Emma into the water.  Once she was in, I think she enjoyed it, but it was funny to watch her get in.

Ada loves to play in the water.  One of her favorite things ever.

She's such a good big sister too.  Seth didn't want to get in without someone.  I took him in a couple of times, but once he reached out for Ada's hand and she took him right in.

My swimmers.

Grandma and Emma took turns introducing Vivien to the water.  That was cute.

See?  Proof that I exist.  My sister took some pictures while I had Seth in the water.

Look at these cuties.

Battle Creek Falls

This week, we started by taking cousins hiking with us on our favorite kid hike.  Battle Creek Falls.  It's only about a half mile, so it's easy for little kids.  There's a longer trail above the falls so that anyone wanting more can keep going while little ones play at the falls.  Our Aunt Amy had her baby, our new cousin named Walter, so we went with the Hansen kids, the Tarkingtons (including Marg), the Morisses, and Grandpa.

Harrison

My 5...

Evelyn loves Millie. If she's feeling social.... that's where she is.

Mariah wanted me to take this picture of them climbing the roots.

This kid looked like a real life Pig Pen.... clouds of dirt wherever he went.

Rhees Family

This is such a fun family.  They're sweet and playful.  It's fun to get to know them and try not to freeze in the cold rain!  It was...
