Jay and Emily... married

So we've been out of the loop for everything for the last week.  We've been in Portland, Oregon for Jer's brother's wedding.  We're so excited for both Jay and Emily.  They are so perfect for each other and we're excited to have another Emily.  (She's the 3rd Emily in the Robertson family... We also have 5 James', 4 John's, 2 Margaret's, 2 Samuel's, etc... we just can't stop duplicating can we...)  It just means that it was meant to be right?

Janelle, this one's for you.  This was the Groom's cake.  Cool huh!

This ones for you Sharon!

Great-Grandma showing us how hungry she was...

Ada ditched her shoes somewhere and then got busy running though the mud in her white dress and white tights... Don't tell my Grandma but I just threw the tights away.  I didn't think there was any hope for them.

This is the Portland temple.  It's really pretty but it is hard to get a picture of the whole thing because of how many trees there are.

Ada and Sammy found a couple of ducks that had flown into the temple's fountain.

Catching the bouquet... then Ada ran in and took it from this girl and got it taken away from her by a little boy too... the irony

The Lodge where we were staying had an old pump organ... so we all tried it out and had a little sing along.

3-in-1

Since all our birthdays are really close and we didn't want to clean up from three parties and we've got Uncle Jay's wedding this week so we'd be pretty busy anyways... we celebrated Sam's, Evelyn's, and my birthdays today.  It was a lot of fun!  First, Sharon watched our kids while Jer and I went shooting with our friends Bethany and Ben.  That was a lot funner than I thought it was going to be.  I thought... shooting, fun, okay I'll go.  But it was a lot funner than that.  Got to shoot some pistols, rifles, shotguns, and some replicas.  Then we came back in time for the bday party.  We played angry birds with blocks and stuffed angry birds, had cake, played in the back yard, opened presents, and played some more.  It was fun.  And yes, if anyone is wondering, I'm 31 this year.

Their coolness factor...

baby Hannah

This is my friend's baby Hannah.  Just barely reached 5 lbs and she's about a month old.  Thanks to my sister-in-law Becca that edited them for me... (I still don't have access to my photoshop... computer's still broken)... Isn't she cute!

Evelyn's smile

Whenever I pull out the camera Evelyn gives me a cheesy smile... I think it's absolutely amazing!

Baby Hannah

Just so you know they're coming Mary!  I begged my friend to let me take pictures of her new baby.  I think she's about 3-4 weeks old by now... and barely reaching 5 lbs.  So tiny that I feel like I'm holding a baby doll instead of a baby.  Now... my computer with Photoshop CS3 on in is the one that's broken... so I can't edit them until after it's fixed or I get together with Becca :) I wanted to take a look at her editing software anyways... she says that she loves it.  But here are a few previews before and we'll give you the after soon...

And a blooper one just because it was dang awesome...

doesn't sound familiar does it?

I used to play with my brother and his GI Joes... And my Barbies... Most of the time we'd game three girl getting rescued and then they'd get married. Ada has a six year old friend that loves transformers... And Ada loves ponies. Her friends mom walked in on this comment:
"No ADA. Optimus prime doesn't ride ponies."

Goings on

So this week has been quite eventful.  We had the Robertson Sunday Fast Dinner at our house... we had Waffles and Brownies.  Yep.  And they were delicious.  It was so fun even if it was a little chilly outside.  Tuesday we went to Gma's house to "irrigate"... or more like... take advantage of the irrigation.  The kids played in it for between 4-5 hours.  And we also had Star Wars Day... always worth mentioning.  (May the 4th be with you).  Playing with cousins Grace and Rocky at the mall play place.  Not to mention the biggest moon that we've ever seen.  It was 30% bigger than any other time in my lifetime... I'm not sure all the details, just heard. Today I got to hang out with my parents, sisters and brother.  I always enjoy doing this.  Mom got her book printed and back today.  (for those that don't know... she's been working on personal histories for each of the kids, my grandpa, and my dad... now it's her turn!)  Here are some pictures to illustrate my week...

lazy or inconvenient?

So, I've been spoiled.  I know it and so do you.  Since Jer and I got married 7 years ago there has always been anywhere from 2-7 working computers in the house.  Not all of them were set up.  A lot of them were hand me downs from other people that knew that Jer works with computers.  One by one they have been dying.  My laptop has mostly died a couple of years ago.  It works with careful consideration.  So, I've been using the laptop that Jer got from his job before this one.  They owed us $18,000, could only pay $10,000, so... they gave us a laptop, a monitor and various programs.  Well, it's two years later and some of the hardware has called it quits... Jer says he can fix it, but it brings me to being a "beggar".  I either steal Jer's laptop when he's gone at work or the kids game machine, which never works for long... as soon as I log on I have two kids clamouring around me asking to play games.  It also means that I've gotten so far behind on blogging and reading blogs.  I've tried doing it from my phone.  It's possible, but it's so much harder to write a blog entry on a swipe screen than by typing it.  So I haven't really tried. To catch up, here's a picture dump with a few notes on how we've been doing.  Good luck reading it, but I won't really be mad if you don't.

Not too long ago, we went to 2 of my neices homeschool production of "Twelth Night".  It was so fun!  I loved every moment of it.  They did a really great job.

I got to see these cute people.  (My gorgeous cousins, Tiff and Aliesha)

And these ones (my sister Janelle and my Dad)

And these ones too  (my mom, Aunt Darlene, baby Kat, and Aunt Diane)

All because of these two.  (My cousin Daniel and his new wife Sarah.  They are so perfect for each other!  I'm so excited for you!  I love how everyone thought you were polynesian Dano!  Vietnamese... Samoan.  Same diff right?)

Got to hang out with this cute mug...

And watch this cute mug...

And have a picnic at Great-Grandma's house...

These are 5 of the 11 great grandchildren... we're missing Elliot's two boys, Russells two girls, Wendee's boy, and Mitch's new baby boy.... and soon... McKay's new baby boy on the way.

And roll down Great-Grandma's hill

We also got to go to my sister-in-law's baby shower... baby boy almost here.  My soon to be sister-in-law's bridal shower.  Play groups at the park.  Biking with the kids.  Seeing baby Hannah.  Going to "The Avengers" with my brother Seth, and.... last but not least, going to the temple with my in laws. Just a little about that.  We went to the temple with Jer's parents, his oldest brother and wife, his youngest sister and wife, and Jer's Uncle Alan and wife.  We went because it was a fun way to celebrate his Grandparent's 65th wedding anniversary.  We did temple sealings for Grandma Jane's family names.  One in particular felt special to me.  A mother that was sealed to her husband and children for all eternity.  I was acting as mother and Jer as father and Jim was the sons...  When the sealer read the first son's name I felt the mother's love for the son.  The second son's name... again I felt how much the mother loved that son.  The third son's name and I felt how sad it was for the mother when the son decided not to accept the sealing.  I could imagine how I would feel if one of my children decided that they didn't want to be with me after death... or if they decided that it would be too much work to be with me after death.  It makes me want to try that much harder to love and teach my own children.

Well, I hope that I didn't bore you all too much, but I think I've caught up on most of my life.  My kids are crazy... Evelyn is officially a walker... Sammy can't wait for his birthday... and Ada decided that she wants to learn to "run really fast".

Rhees Family

This is such a fun family.  They're sweet and playful.  It's fun to get to know them and try not to freeze in the cold rain!  It was...
