Evelyn Orchestra

Here are the pictures of Evelyn's orchestra concert from my phone.  It was cold and rainy, but she was bright and smiley.  Grandma Wilcox was able to make it to this one.

She was so cute.  She saw me and knows that it's hard to get a picture of her behind everyone so she paused with me in view and waited for me.  It was perfect.

Seth's percussion from my phone

Seth is so excited to be part of percussion and enjoying every minute of it.  The teacher says that he's impressed how quickly that he's catching on to everything. Evelyn, Sam, Jer and I were all there to support and cheer.  Two had to leave right after Seth performed so we didn't get a group picture though.

General Conference Weekend

Ada was able to come down with us for Conference.  That was fun and the weekend went too fast.  Jer and I drove up in the morning to pick her up, then she took the train back Monday morning. We played games, listened to conference, ate food, and talked about our next events....

Our kids "not sleeping".  They've been running like crazy.  I reminded them a couple of times and then just let them sleep after that.  Every time you'd say their names they would all pop out with, "I'm awake!"  It was pretty funny.

Seth and Evelyn made their semi annual tents.

I'm glad these sisters have each other.  There really is nothing like having a sister.

Sam made apple pie.

Ada has shown Jer, Evelyn and I a couple of swing dance moves.  it's fun.

Eternity

Janine, Jessica and I went to the Manti temple together.  Neither had been there before so it was fun.  I like chatting with my friends and I hope they're doing well.  It was fun to meet Jessica's mom.  She really is an angel to her family.  We drove by the Ephraim temple but we didn't have time to stop for the open house.  I really am drawn to the area.  It's beautiful and peaceful.

Judy put her sister's pictures into an aging software.  It's fun to see!  I could see either of these possibilities.  Apparently, she looks like Judy's aunt.

Sprinklers

We got to help put in a sprinkler line at the cabin during our last Bear Lake week of the year.

Ada had to join in on a biology zoom meeting.... Sam and Evelyn are also both doing biology this year.... so Sam joined in.

Homecoming

Sam and his cute homecoming date.  They had fun, but they both were busy during the day.... her with a service project and him with digging sprinklers at Bear Lake.  Instead of a day date, they just met up at the dance.  They found some friends and danced for a while.  I think Sam was dehydrated from the day though because he had a headache part of the way through.

random

Silly big kids.  We were ready to play games before bed and they were being all giggly.

We had an amazing D&D session.  It was so funny.  There were magic potions, size changing badgers, ninjago snake guys, etc.... it was fun.

Sam and Jer and training for a half marathon together.  It's Sam's first one, but Jer said that he's doing amazingly.

Evelyn and I got to go on a temple date together to the Mt Timp temple.  That was fun.  I haven't been to that one in ages.

My mom, Evelyn and I went to the Snow White ballet together.  It was so cute.  Evelyn LOVED the dwarfs and was talking about how she would love one of their roles and how she knew which dwarf was which.  It was fun to be with these two wonderful women.

Jer and I went to the symphony with Jim, Amy, Jon and Isabelle (first time goer).  It was pretty and rainy.... including a double rainbow right above the newly finished (outside) Salt Lake temple.

But along with the rain, our neighborhood flooded again.  Our house, our neighbor's home and the row of town homes all needed to be bailed out.  Nick made the comment, "Thank you for coming to our annual 100 year storm clean up.  I really wish that we could nail down a day for it."

Jim and Jer working on trains.

Evelyn and I have been seeing a specialist about her eyes.  They want to detach the muscles from both eyes, straighten them out and reattach them again.  She's trying to decide what to do.  I'm trying to research the surgeon.

Rhees Family

This is such a fun family.  They're sweet and playful.  It's fun to get to know them and try not to freeze in the cold rain!  It was...
