Robertson 4th of July reunion

It was an unconventional one this time.  We played games and had glow in the dark stuff instead of fireworks because of the extreme fires in Utah lately.  Grandpa made ice cream, we did a pinewood derby, and Ada and I hung out at home while she recovered from her week long competition and sleepless nights.

Jer stepped out with our two younger ones to see the Colonial Fest for a minute.

Grandpa's birthday and photos from my phone

Jer took us to the stake center to fold the flag.  That was fun.

Ada's libraries were installed in the parks!  They look great.

My friend's cat kept smelling me and staring at me.  It was funny.

I got to visit with my friends from High School. Rebecca, Sherry and Sharon.  I loved it.

Ada and Jer got to do the mud run with the Hansens.  They sent me some awesome after photos when they were done.  I'll have to get them from my phone.

We got to celebrate my Dad's birthday together with dinner, a game and good conversation.

My cate kept walking under my stained glass window and I loved all the colors.

My girls sang the camp song with the YW.

Sharon made this cute cake for Dad.

Wilcox cousin reunion

A new fun tradition is my cousins getting together for a quick reunion every couple of years.  I loved catching up with them. Brad had a gift for us. Our ancestor, Walter Eli, had written a personal history and Brad had found the person that had it.  It was so neat to see the beautifulc neat handwriting, hear all the neat life stories, etc...

Unfortunately, Ada wasn't able to come.  She missed her flight back from her FBLA nationals competition. She had a fun time and worked hard.  Jer drove up during the reunion to pick her and two more people from the airport so that I could stay and visit.

Misc

In between anniversary, family reunions, and holiday we had orthodontist appointments and catching rabbits. The city put in fiber lines to all of our neighbors.  They broke our sprinkler lines in five different places and dug under our fence right into the backyard neighbor's rabbit pen.   They let out all 35 of their rabbits and both of their dogs.  They were able to catch most of them, but 5 of them made their home in our backyard.  After a week of trying to catch them in traps. We caught 3 of them and had the two biggest ones that didn't like how small the trap was. It took all 6 of us to corner them and catch the last two.  I think they've been able to get all but one back into the enclosure..... And then one of their bunnies just had new babies.

We also got to have a fun movie night with cousins and a friend.

Anniversary

This year, Jer and I celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary. We went to eat at the Holy Grill and played pinball and old school video games. It was fun.  Jer introduced me to several I'd never heard of.

Frustration

Ada stayed home from Bear Lake because she needed to wash laundry, pack, memorize her scripts, celebrate Alexx's birthday, and sleep before her competition in Texas.  We missed her, but I'm so grateful that she was home.  AT&T joined up with the city to dig fiber lines.  We already have fiber, but they have to lay infrastructure.  They dug up a lot of our lawn, right next to our new aspen trees, broke at least 5 pipes in our sprinkler system, and left a hole between us and our neighbors.... after we spent the last two weeks trying to trap all their bunnies, we now have bunnies and dogs in our yard.  Ada was able to facilitate the workers being here to fix sprinklers and turned off the whole system when a new leak was found.  I'm so grateful to her!  She left 5 am on Sunday morning and I miss her already.  I'm glad that she gets to compete one last time.

Rhees Family

This is such a fun family.  They're sweet and playful.  It's fun to get to know them and try not to freeze in the cold rain!  It was...
