Conference time

We split conference between our parents homes and one session at our house.  It was nice and it was fun to spot cousin Jonathan in the choir.

In between sessions, we cleaned the windows and sprayed spiderwebs.

Ada asked Jer to teach her to make cinnamon rolls.  They were delicious.

Soccer

Soccer is going well this season.  We're almost all the way through and I feel like it's flown by.  Seth is loving playing defense and Sam's done really well despite an allergy/exercise induced asthma attack.

The rest of Goblin Valley

Here are the rest of the pictures from the Goblin Valley trip.  My computer died a couple of weeks ago.  Jeremy was able to get it up and running again, but now I'm just starting to get back into the habit of posting.

Sping Break

This year we went to Goblin Valley with Janine, Aaron and Aiden. Evelyn's friend, Ian, also hitched a ride with us.  It was colder than it usually is in the fall, but it was beautiful. The kids loved it and we hiked all the way across the valley and came out the other side.  It was very fun. We played cops and robbers.  Went swimming. Played laser tag.  For the first time ever, we had to wait in line to get into the park.  Usually people just park on the hill, but now they won't even let you in until there's a spot in the parking lot open.  We chatted and waited.  Then had lunch and fun.  Sam drove us down there too.  He's getting to be a good driver. I think he'll be ready for his birthday. I have some of the pictures here and I will post the ones off Jer's phone soon.

Today I had a neat discussion with Seth.  He told me that today was rainy and windy and we are remembering Jesus' death so it was appropriate.  We talked about Christ's friends falling asleep and about how a lot of the stories that we tell today were originally to teach about Jesus Christ.  Narnia, Hercules, Thor. We talked about how God withdrew his presence and that Jesus Christ did the hardest thing that he'd ever done all on his own.  I'm so blessed that Seth wanted to talk.  It helped me keep in mind Christ for today.  Thanks buddy.  Thank you for following the Holy Ghost.

Sam was the last one alive in the laser tag game.  Here it's him vs the pack.

Rhees Family

This is such a fun family.  They're sweet and playful.  It's fun to get to know them and try not to freeze in the cold rain!  It was...
