This last weekend

We did a family baptism session at the Orem Temple.  Seth decided that he would be okay at home for the two hours that we were gone.  He did great.  It made my heart so happy to be in the temple with these wonderful people.  Ada had a fun time laughing at the really long jumper they gave me that I had to roll up to walk in.

Sunday, Jim showed us the completed trail down by Utah lake.  It was a beautiful bike ride.  None of the kids complained, everyone stayed up with the group until the last couple of minutes.  Well done family.  8 miles.

Misc

Ada's working of this awesome project.  She's hoping that she can finish before it gets really wet outside.

Seth and Evelyn got to go to Hang time with Jack for his birthday.

I found this "escape room" that Seth had made a long time ago.  It is so cute and I love the creativity.

The cats tolerate me letting daycare pet them... they like to be warm more than the petting.

I found a couple of pictures to add from the Imagine Dragons post.

Dinner at Grandma and Grandpa's house.  We made homemade pizzas.

Before it froze really bad, Ada pulled the rest of the carrots and we made a delicious carrot/ginger soup.

We finished the soccer season.

Seth played goalie and had a blast.

My kids keep taking pictures of the cats on my phone.  They are adorable.... but I have a ton of pictures of cats lately.

Moab trail run

Jer's knee/back is doing well enough that he registered for and ran his favorite race ever.  He loves the Moab trail run.  Ada went with him to make sure that Dad made it home in one piece.  I'm very grateful she was willing to do so.  The rest of us went to Vivien's baptism.  I played the music, Evelyn and Seth were the witnesses and Sam helped grandma lead the music.  It was a blessing to be a part of. I've got pictures on my camera.  I'll upload a couple later today.

After the race, they chose to stop by Arches and go on a couple of hikes.  They loved their time and took some awesome pictures.

Everybody was kung fu fighting

Halloween

Sam went to play video games with friends for the night and Jer handed out candy.  Next year, I'm guessing Seth might be the only one interested in Trick or Treating.  We'll see.
My sister wore this again.  I still love it.

My amazing sister made these for her kids!  They are spectacular!

Sarah as Belle and Ada as Alice.  Matchy-matchy

For Halloween, Ada and her friends dressed up as Alice in Wonderland, the red queen and the rabbit.  They had a fun time watching the cartoon and handing out trick or treat candy around a fire pit.

Ada volunteered at a haunted house.  She had fun, but she had two people that were really aggressive with her.... including one that elbowed her really hard.

Our ward served coffin nachos for our ward party.  It was fun.

Evelyn (fox), Rose (ninja), Jack (Charmander) and Seth (among us)

I don't know how much longer we're going to be doing this together.... but for now, I'll enjoy being with my kids and love chatting with neighbors and friends.

Seth's favorite "treat" was a pack of ramen that he got from our Yancey neighbors.  They said it started as a joke, but that was their favorite item that people chose.

Rhees Family

This is such a fun family.  They're sweet and playful.  It's fun to get to know them and try not to freeze in the cold rain!  It was...
