Seth party pictures

 I finally got the pictures of Seth's party from the camera.... so I'll post them here even though I already posted about the party.

2.... 3 weeks

 We've been happy busy lately.  But it means that it's been a few weeks since we were able to update our personal history here.  The Brashers came down.  That was fun.  About half of everyone hiked Timp up to the lake... even with the snow.  Ada almost tripped off a cliff and I'm really glad she didn't.  They did great though.  There were tons of goats that were getting really bold about being close to the people.  Then we got to catch the Princess Mononoke film that was part of the Ghibli fest.  I think we confused Matthew. I loved getting to see our returned missionary cousin, Joseph. 

Sam, Joseph, Jeff, Samuel, Matthew, Jim, Ada (Jer the photographer)... I think that Jay and Emily were also hiking, just left before these guys.

Jude's birthday

Happy birthday cousin Jude!  We loved celebrating with you!

 

Seth's birthday party

So we had Seth's birthday party on Saturday.  We were going to do it next Saturday, but my niece was saying that she was going to have her party next Saturday.... so we moved Seth's up a week.  It was fun.  Ada and I built him a volcano/dinosaur cake.  Seth drew it and we built it.

Seth had never had a pinata before.  I found a cute dinosaur one, but it didn't break very well.  No one seemed to mind though.

Ada and Devin were the pinata rope person... they had to give Sam a hard time.

We went out to eat with the Wilcox's after the party.  That was fun.

 

This week

 

We got to ride our bikes over to the new Lindon Temple site.  It was a lot of fun. I enjoyed it. Yes, Evelyn is in her dance leotard...

My friend, Beth, invited us to go to the Dinosaur Island with her and her kids.  It was fun.  They did a great job.

Sam was not really excited to come, but he did a great job, got in a good walk and took pictures for me so I could carry the drink bag.

This girl passed her test to get her driving permit!  She's been driving everywhere since.  She likes to drive and I'm glad for her.  The way that they do the tests now is so much harder than when I got my license.  Apparently they put the current rules in place in 1999.
