Ada had to work and Sam didn't want to come, so it was just me and the younger two.  It was such nice weather!  It was overcast and a little rainy.... really only sunny for the last hour. 

 

Orem Colonial Festival

My friend, Beth, invited us to visit the Colonial Festival with her.  Evelyn's friend, Orson, and his mom volunteer there every year, so we went to support. It's been hot every time we've been.... but it was three times bigger this year than in years past.  My favorite things to see are the Mayflower presentation, the printer, and the World War II camp.

While we were printing a poster for Seth and Evelyn, Fox 13 news came in and wanted to film the printing press.  On the one hand, it was fun to watch the news be filmed... on the other hand, they never asked if we wanted to be part of it or if we wanted to finish up and move on. Rose ended up being interviewed for the news but a weather broadcast cut out the part that she would have been on.

sneaking off

We snuck off in between Robertson things to hang out with my parents.  I love see them. 

Evelyn the cat watcher. One of the kittens at some ant poison.... so we gave them charcoal, milk and watched them for the day.  They're both okay.
