Family Night

Part of Family Night was a walk around Thanksgiving Point Gardens at the very tail end of the Tulip Festival.  I got a walk in and cute kids decided that they were photographers.  Ada has been doing jobs for people and saving her money to buy her own camera.  This picture above is one of hers. 

Soccer

Evelyn was so cute!  This last game, she really shone.  She usually hangs out in the back and doesn't want to participate.  This time she joyfully jumped into the fray. She even made a goal.

Birthday party

Evelyn's friend had a birthday party on Friday. It was so fun. They did a field day at the park. They let my other kids join in because we were there playing at the other part of the park.

May 4th

Ada, Sam, Dad and I went to the symphony together on Friday. Because it was May 4th the Disney Store had the five-oh-first there. Ada wanted a picture but Sam did not.

Cousins

I love family connections. My cousin had her bridal shower on Saturday. My sisters were both able to come with me. We missed Sophie but I know that she's pretty busy with their move coming up. It was fun to see all my cousins new babies and a couple of my aunts.

Seth's first dentist visit

This one just proved that you can sit quietly while they clean your teeth. I was very happy.

Soccer season is ending

We only have one more soccer game. Well it's been fun I won't miss running around all week trying to make sure we make it to all the practices. I sure love the good things that come from playing soccer. Our kids are more active then they would be otherwise and I enjoy getting out of the house occasionally.

Sam's teacher

Sam has an amazing teacher. Not someone I would have thought to be a good teacher. But he's taking Sam from sort of being okay with being in school to loving his class work. He's having his first baby so I thought I'd make a blanket for him.

Ada

Ada has made friends with two of the people in her class. They are usually called The Three Musketeers. There's Frankie, Brendon and Ada. Everybody always thinks Ada and Frankie are twins.

My heart is happy

My sister-in-law and her family were sealed in the temple this week. I know how much that she has wanted that for her family and I am so excited for her and her family.
