One of my favorite traditions on Easter Sunday is taking a family picture. I love looking back and seeing how much everyone has grown. This year we even got Easter clothes for the kids. Sam and Seth needed new Sunday clothes, and I found $7 dresses at Walmart for the girls. I think they look adorable.

Evelyn's recital
The last week was very busy for me. Luckily I have my boot off, and I can mostly keep up with all our activities.... I'm just slower than normal. We got Evelyn all ready for her dance recital, headed over to be told it was the next day. Whoops. So we went shopping for our groceries and a bday present for Sam's friend.
Her ballet class were the Velveteen Rabbits. She'd never heard the story, so I read it with her and Seth. She was so cute, she cried during it.
She's also not afraid to pose herself. I know we didn't need a ton of pictures for this blog post, but these self posed ones were absolutely amazing!
She told me after, "Mom, I only made two mistakes!" This was one of them. She knew what to do, just didn't check her balance.
I love her face in this one!
She wants to take another dance class during the summer. I think she likes to dance. Ada did, but she said that she didn't like always being busy. I can understand that, especially since 4-6th graders at our school have a lot more at home projects than the younger kids. My sister Janelle came with us to watch her dance. It was fun. I especially like watching little kids dance. Both of us cracked up at the little girl that came out with her 4 year old class, did all the dance moves, and bawled the entire time.
Week before Easter
Our annual neighborhood Easter Egg hunt happened the week before Easter. It's fun to be with our neighbors and we had fun stuffing over 2500 eggs for the kids with our friends over the week. It was also the day of our kids new soccer season starting and our Wilcox family Easter party. Sam and Jer came to the pot-luck breakfast and then off to their soccer game. I kept the other three for the egg hunt. I tried to help Seth, but he was in no rush to pick up eggs.... so I just pointed them out and hoped he got to them before someone else saw them. Ada was really sweet. Jer asked her and Evelyn to get a few eggs for Sam. Ada made sure that the candy he got was ones that he likes.
Our Easter Egg hunt is one of the few times that ALL the neighbors come. We have a lot of in active/not LDS friends... and this is one of the times when they all get together.
Nice 'balanced' breakfast for the both of them.
Laurel, Ada and Lizzie (My two ten year old pals and their 12 year old pal....)
Evelyn wanted to sit by her Primary teacher and help their 2 year old open her candy.

Brave
Sam doesn't like change. But when he does finally try new things, he excels at them. Last time he wanted to try the diving board he didn't jump because he was too scared. This time, not only did he jump and decide that he liked it, he started doing tricks.
Rec Center
An anonymous neighbor gave us one time use passes to the Orem Rec Center. We went right before I got my cast off, so I stayed off to the side and took pictures while watching and being grateful for this crew. I'm so lucky.
Zoo
Evelyn's class held a 'zoo'. Each kid prepared and presented an animal. Evelyn chose Snow Leopards. She did such a great job and was so proud of herself. Grandma Robertson drove me there, that was fun for Evelyn to have here there too.
