Seth never did like being by himself. Usually he wants to be with me constantly. Lately he hasn't cried for my attention but he has carried around games and toys poking me until I play with him.

Road trip

One way

One way we keep our kids from begging for toys when we stop at a store is to say that they can have a picture of it. I have had to take pictures of everything from Pokemon cards to giant teddy bears. Sometimes the cute kids in it is better than just throwing it away to clear up space on my phone. This Evelyn knows how to keep her pictures on my phone by making awesome faces when I take her picture.

Reader

This little reader loves new information. Whether it's a pamphlet from a hotel or her siblings library books she always has something to read in her hand and is always perched and a windowsill or on the stairs with it open and look of concentration on her face. She doesn't always understand what she's reading but I have no doubt that she will because she keeps doing it. She always laughs when she does understand something and has to explain to me what it is that she's reading. She made this awesome face when I try to take a picture of her in the hotel hallway.

Fort Collins temple

The Fort Collins Temple is very pretty. I love their uses of color inside. The most striking were there stained glass windows. It was really neat to be able to sit next to Jacob in the temple. I know that he's worked hard to be there and he's working hard to be a missionary. I love seeing how he's grown up. I can't wait to see my own children grow up and go to the temple.

Selfies

I don't try selfies very often. Every now and then I do but they don't quite work. This one almost worked except for the fact that Sam and Evelyn decided to hide when I took the picture.
