Wilcox Family Halloween Party

For our family party this year, we went to Cornbelly's.  Seth LOVED it, every second.  He never wanted to go to the next activity, but he sure loved every single one of them.

Sam, Devin, Ada, Lance, Aubrey
Evelyn, Emma, Vivien, Seth, Jordan

She loves her costume glasses.

Grandpa's part of the fun.

This is how we bean bag toss.

Ada is such a marvelous big sister.  She helped any time an adult wasn't needed.  She made sure Seth played, was buckled, didn't get stuck.... once she left him in a little maze, but it was enclosed and we knew where he was.  I think that riding on the tractor was his absolute favorite!

Tractor pull.  It was a lot more fun to pull a tractor than I thought it would be.

Helper

They even had a giant foosball game.  Poor Ada kept losing her shoes, and Seth insisted on being right in the middle of the game... so he's Daddy's helper.

These three have adjusted to playing together for the most part.  They're good buddies and I'm glad of it.  There's nothing like cousins.

Sam must still have a slight allergy... we came out of the maze and he was itching and irritable.  I gave him Benadryl and a shower and he was back to his normal self.

These guys were all bummed out about having to leave and they wouldn't smile for one last picture.  Sam promised he'd try again next time to smile.

Halloween

This year we had no strollers and no early bedtimes.  Very weird.  I think the kids had a blast though.  We got to go trick or treating with my brother Seth (I really should have gotten a picture darn it), who's living with us while my parents are building a house.  Our baby Seth keeps asking for 'Uncle Teth'.

R2-D2, Mallory from Studio C "Awww Yeah", Mario, Rainbow Dash (she wanted to be Appa from The last Airbender... would have been an adventure.)

Evelyn's glove got locked in the door.  Jer told her she'd have to stay and hand out candy.  She said she couldn't, "Because I can't reach it." (It's right next to her.)

Seth saw this one and said, "Mom! Bug!"

All around playground

This is the new Orem playground that was opened last week.  It's an all inclusive playground that allows for wheelchairs and other limitations without taking away from fun stuff for kids without limitations.  We donated a little bit, so they put our name on one of the slats in the fence.  I told the kids to keep an eye out for it because there were a lot of slats.  It was my mom that found it... right next to the entry way.

Ada's 9

For Ada's 9th birthday, we didn't do anything huge.  Ada had a great idea though.  She wanted to do a road rally.  We had friends and cousins bring bikes, skates, scooters, skate boards, etc.... and we raced.  It was so fun! Simple, nothing harder than making a cake.  We even said on the invitation that presents weren't required.  She still got a couple, but not an overwhelming amount like she usually gets... It was just right.

Ada kept saying, "This is the best day ever."

Vivien

My sister and her husband had this sweet little miracle baby on Ada's birthday.  They're birthday twinners!  We're so glad that she's been able to join her family and we will be sure to shower this sweetheart with love and attention.

Rhees Family

This is such a fun family.  They're sweet and playful.  It's fun to get to know them and try not to freeze in the cold rain!  It was...
