Babies

Seth is starting to think that babies are pretty awesome. He likes to play with them and is actually pretty soft with them.   My favorite is that he wanted to hold 5 month old Hal. So I say him down and let him hold him. They were so happy with each other. Seth was so proud of himself and Hal just kept smiling.

Yep, he's that Uncle. The kids think it's the best thing ever.

Cousins

We have our Brasher cousins staying with us over the weekend while we have or Robertson family reunion. It's so fun to see everyone. I especially love this swing that Matthew made of of rope and left over pvc pipe. It's awesome.

Tball and coach pitch

This girl has been loving tball.  I'll try to download the video that my sister took of Evelyn and two friends giving each other high fives.  She keeps track of how many time she gets the ball during the games, and even has fought some of the teammates for it.  She kept leaving when she was on second base so that she could be the one to get the ball.  The coach finally took her by the shoulders, marched her over to the base and put her there.  It was pretty funny.

Sam is a great hitter.  He LOVES to hit and takes me to practice catching at the park.  Most of his hits would be doubles if they played that way.  It's not until machine pitch that they start playing by real baseball rules.

Evelyn talking

Sitting on Grandma and Grandpa's roof to watch the Stadium of Fire fireworks last night made Evelyn feel so grown up.  She felt like that since she was so grown up, she should take part in all the grown up conversations too.  We were talking about our favorite fireworks, then about some movies we hadn't seen for a while.  Evelyn missed that we weren't talking about fireworks anymore... she thought that the names of the fireworks were the movies we were naming off.  My favorite was Jer saying, "I want to see Quigley Down Under again.  That one is so good."  Evelyn jumped in saying, "Yeah, Quigling down under is the best one!  I want to see that one again."

Brothers

In so glad these two have each other. There's nothing like a brother! Seth has slept in a toddler bed 3 nights now and while he has to have the door closed so he won't get out of bed, he loves that when he wakes up in the morning he has a greater freedom. The very first morning I found him looking behind his curtain and saying ,"Jump, jump!" while he watched the kids jumping on the trampoline in the back yard.
