Sam during Floorball.  Sam and Ada are taking a floorball class.  Sam LOVES it, but he's at least 2-4 years younger than everyone else... and he's small for his age.  He's fast and good at stealing the ball, but these guys are good at blocking his shots.

Took Ada to Classic Skating for a bday party... while she was roller blading, I played with the younger two.  Fun stuff.

Mother-Daughter temple date

About two weeks ago I got a special opportunity to go with Ada on a tour of the Brides Room with the moms and daughters from our Stake.  It was so neat to be able to focus on just her and the temple.  I teared up a bit when I realized that the next time it would be just her and me in the Brides Room together would be when she gets married.  I know she's only 8, but it made me feel like Heavenly Father feels... that all times are here and now.  She'll be at that age before you know it, and with the temple as the goal it was a here and now feeling.  She told me, "Mom, I just can't stop smiling.  The temple is making me so happy."

To celebrate, we went the Provo City Center temple openhouse, dinner and cake. Fun stuff.

I love this one!

I loved running into this lady today.  Yes we're sweaty and gross at the rec center,  but it's fun to catch up after she got home from a mission to New Zealand.  This is Aunt Linda Harding. She my great aunt... Married to my grandma 's brother...  And she met her great great neice and nephew for the first time today.

Valentine's Day

I have a camera again!  After my camera started saying that it didn't have a lens at Christmas time I wasn't too pleased... two years in a row that my camera was dead during the holidays.  Luckily it was still under warrantee.  I got it back the day before our Wilcox Valentine's Day party.  Yay! 

We had fun with hoola hoops, paper airplanes, chocolate and just plain chatting.  Then we went out for lunch at El Azteca. 

Aubrey was embarrassed that everyone was kissing her as she made her rounds around the room.

Easter dresses

So Costco put out their Easter dresses. My girls got all dreamy eyed... So I decided to actually make the dresses that we picked out fabric for two years ago. Here's Evelyn's.  Now on to Ada's.

Sayings

Evelyn eating hard boiled eggs with mom.... "Here mom, you eat the ogre I don't want it."  (yolk)

Seth lately sounds like the penguin Pingu.   "Tu Tu!"

At dinner the other night with my brothers and sisters a cup of water for spilled on my lap. Devin days, "Hey look! It's a salami!" (meant tsunami)
