Ada Coach Pitch

Ada's been having fun doing baseball again this year.  Jer's only been able to make it to one game, but we're glad he was able to come this last Saturday because their last game is next week and Jer's got another camp out. Ada's gotten consistent with her hitting.  When she first started, she'd miss every time.  Now she can hit it at least within the first couple pitches.

Funny that my baby that hates bananas with a passion, pears from a can and mandarins... happens to like fresh pears.

Jer and I painted this together for our Anniversary.  It was different painting with a medium I didn't know and with someone else.  It was fun and relaxing though.  I didn't want to leave when we were out of time.

I took kids to Neptune park to play.  It was pretty and nice.  (That's Sam at the top of the pyramid).

These guys were pretending to trick or treat.

Part of this week, we went shopping with Aunt Margaret and Grandma.  It was really fun to see Ada and Maisy shopping together.  They passed all their favorites by each other.  Ada tried everything on and showed them to Maisy for opinions.

This kid won't wear hats, except for Grandpa's or Uncle Seth's.

The 4th

I'd forgotten to bring my camera on the 4th, but I do have a couple pictures from my phone...

This one was the flag that they put up in the mouth of the PG canyon.  It was really neat to drive up and see.

Going through my phone, I realized that I hadn't blogged about the Owlz game that we went to with Amy and her kids, about our Anniversary, and some leftover from the reunion.

My parents took our kids the morning of our anniversary.  They went to the splash pad and played.

These two were buddies for sure... where one went, the other followed.

Someone was there showing this bobsled.  The kids thought it was pretty neat.  Not too long after this it started raining... I ran to get the kids that were playing together in the play area.  I won't let them go by themselves even though it's right next to the berm. Ada and Sam went together.  I found Ada and neither of us could find Sam.  We ran all over trying to find him without luck.  Jer finally found him in the boys bathroom having a little panic moment about his bum hurting.  Heart attack city.

Lizzie

This beautiful young lady is my niece, Lizzie.  She is remarkable in many ways.  A future missionary, happy, smart, fun.  Lizzie is going into her Senior year of high school and asked if I'd take some pictures of her.  I LOVE her blue eyes, genuine smile and sense of humor.  I loved having some one on one time to chat. I loved these ones because she caught me with her eyes and smile.
