Monday was the much looked forward LEGOLAND visit. The kids have been talking about it for months. The kids were super good. They started getting a little whinny when we were almost there, but when they realized that we were there it was all smiles and bounces. We walked all day and Sam kept saying that his feet were hot. I told him that all of our feet hurt, but the next day I found holes all the way through the soles both shoes. That poor kid, really did have hot feet. When we first got there, we bought a mini figure each and let the kids trade them around the park as we went. That was fun. They loved the roller coasters and the water rides. I loved that everything was Lego... even the carousel.
The kids found an alcove that they all wanted to sit in...
Ada complained that she was getting too big for something like this.
And so did Dad....
Jer's favorite... Mini land - New York City
This was really neat. One huge tree with tons of tendrils. Evelyn was done about this time. She decided that she was done walking and had to be ridden on our shoulders out.
This is what she had been most looking forward to.
This baby kept climbing in the dog's bed. I was half amused and half ready to stick him in the tub. Luckily, they keep their house clean and I didn't have too big of a problem letting the baby just go at it. It was pretty funny.
Evelyn decided to spend her birthday money on this princess outfit and purple dragon. (And I love her expression in this).
