Tippy the tiger
Many people may or may not recognize these two, but besides my adorable three year old Tippy is pretty famous. He was mine since I was little, disappeared when I was about ten and found again when I went to visit my dad's classroom years later. Turns out that Tippy had been adopted as their classroom buddy without my knowledge. Eventually he found his way to my kids. Him and Sam are really good buddies... They go everywhere, but you have to know that his name is now Baby Jaguar... Hmm, heard that one recently.
Grapes
Last week I got to help my mother-in-law pick grapes that she makes into yummy grape juice. This picture is only half way done. Evelyn helped with quality control, Ada helped with Evelyn control, and Sammy helped make sure the trampoline was safe to use.
Thankful
My mom is amazing! I'm excited that I get to help her in the next couple of weeks... she had surgery and I'm sure glad she did, it was harder than expected, longer than expected and they definitely found more than one unexpected surprise... but now I get to be there for her. Yay mom! You did it!
Family
So, I think that Jer and I have been extremely blessed. We love both sides of our family and try to spend a lot of time with each of them... One of the families that we love so much is Jer's brother John... Two of the reasons that I love to hang out with them is that they have kids my kids ages and they all get along... Ada, Rachel and Anya... Sammy and Joey... and Evelyn and Josh. They are all good buds and like to make lots of big messes together. Always a sign of a good time right? And another reason that I love them is that they always tell me how much they love me... Anya makes sure that she smiles at me everytime she walks in the room, Adam hugs me and says, "I love you Rosanne.", Joey says, "Hi Rosanne!", Josh gives me hugs, Johnny has a lot to tell me about each time (and we make good game partners), Ruth and Kate are just happy to let me know how they are and are not shy to talk about anything, Rachel tells me stories and watches out for if Evelyn gets into something she shouldn't, and Arwen just looks at me and smiles... unless I'm actually holding her, then she has to look everywhere else... and John and Diane are just fun to talk to and we're interested in a lot of the same things. Thanks for loving us!

General Conference
I love listening to Conference... Conference weekend is just like one big spiritual marathon and family party... I feel like it was way too short this time though. We got to watch it at Jim and Judy's house this time with John and Diane's family and a brief visit from Emily Eyring and family and Becca's family.
"Cleaning house"
Coloring while listening to the talks
Backyard break between sessions (Sam, Joey, Evelyn, Anya and Josh)
These two are really good buds...
These two are as well...
Are you ready to give your keys over yet?
Birthday baby
Yep... my biggest "baby" is turning 5. We had her birthday on Friday because of scheduling issues... She was spoiled rotten, but loved every minute of it. Ada wanted to have a Mermaid party, but most of her friends are boys so we added Pirates on there... Some people decided to be Pirate mermaids...
These are the things that I love about my girl:
-She's a smarty pants... she catches on to things quick
-She likes to be with me
-She's willing to play with Evelyn pretty much any time
-She has a smile that makes you happy
-She loves people
-She's up to try most anything at least once
-She loves to jump and play
-She's pretty and makes me feel pretty (cause she looks like I did when I was her age)
-She makes Sam giggle
-She makes Jer melt inside (you can tell, anytime that they're talking he just gets all soft... cute)
Love you my big, grown up girl!

This one was her "main" present... Jer got her a Rapunzel doll and I made her the hair out of about $3 worth of yarn and ribbon... She was so cute... she kept saying, "I love it so much mommy!" over and over again.

Finally, Saturday
So, due to technical difficulties I hadn't been able to get my Saturday pictures up. My mom arranged with her friend to let us come out and ride her 30+ year old horse. It was so fun! Thanks Mom and thanks Mooner.
Evelyn was so interested in the cat and dog that she didn't realize there was a horse at first. When she did see the horse then she started saying,"Moo!"
Love my dad!
My horse lover was a little timid to be the one holding the reins but she loved feeding the horse apples.
This guys that it was just a blast to be up there and going.
Evelyn was so excited! She cried when I got her down.
Monkey!
And since Grandma was having surgery over Ada's bday we had presents early. She LOVED the card that they'd given her... it sang and flashed. What more could you want?
After all that excitement, Uncle Seth took the time to play dominoes with Sammy especially. How fun. You should have seen how excited he was when he realized how it works.

Haha
At my kids allergy elimination appointment today we got to see my cousin Joe's cute family and I just had to laugh at what the Dr said about Evelyn. He does the treatment and then asks your body if there were any emotions that it had about that certain allergy... Sounds funny, I know but it has worked so far... Evelyn had stubbornness... I thought, you got that right... Her most favorite word is NO.
Speaking of words... She can say no, yeah, kitty, Lucy, nella, mama, Ada, ice, binki, ball, neigh, dee for daddy, gragra for grandpa, go, and she can mimic a lot of intimations... Very cute to see her communicating with you.

Appropriate for Halloween
So, my mom had surgery today and while explaining this to my kids Ada asks, "Is surgery where they cut you open?" I explain that it is and she says, "I hope they don't take out her brain."

This is such a fun family. They're sweet and playful. It's fun to get to know them and try not to freeze in the cold rain! It was...
