Funeral luncheon

Bruce and Jacob

At the luncheon, Jim put together the songs that they remembered Ggma always singing.  She loved singing and playing her ukulele.

Jim and Judy with Marilyn.  Marilyn has been a good friend for Judy right now.  I'm so grateful that Ggma's support system also has had an amazing support system.

These four nuts were cute.  Samuel B. asked Evelyn if she would play with him after we went back to Grandma's house.

Each of the girls chose out one of Ggma's necklaces or earrings.  I did that with my Grandma Wilcox's jewelry.  I love that my girls got to too.

We took a minute and took a sibling picture

The cemetery

Ggma was very good at interacting with the little kids.  Ada learned lots of games and funny stories from her.

Bruce, Glenene, Richard, Jim, Judy, Sonny, Anne, Alan, Rachelle

Mike & Julie's family, Richard & Glenene, Danny &Julie?'s family,

The lady I gave my camera to didn't know how to rotate the lens to fit everyone in the photo.... so we've got two...

These were the Grandchildren that were able to be there.  I think there are 38 Grands.

These were some of the Great-grandchildren that came.  There are 106 and 5 on the way.

Jer's sisters, plus Margaret

Jer's brothers

I loved this.  These guys were trying to get as many people into the selfie as possible.  I loved watching them.

Sam.  The greatgrands were told that they were allowed to take one flower from the flower arrangements.  Sam picked a blue one because that's Ggma's favorite color and instead of keeping it he put it on Ggma's coffin.

Family prayer

There were many pictures that were taken of the siblings saying goodbye to their mom.  I can't lay claim to those, but I did get a couple pictures.

I love this man.  He has such a big heart and a desire to always doing the best he can at whatever he's doing.  He loves all his siblings and revels in the time that they get together.

Great Grandma Jane's funeral

Our Ggma died a few weeks ago.  I want to do another post about that later, but here are some of the pictures from the family getting together for the funeral.  We were lucky.  We got to host Jer's brother, John, and his daughter, Ruth.

We got to celebrate this sweet Lizzie girl's 19th birthday.  My niece loves musicals, works hard and has a plan for her life.

Practicing for the family choir.  I actually really loved the song.  They sang "Oh, What Songs of the Heart". I'd never really paid attention to the words, but they were just perfect.

Eating at Chili's after a temple trip and before Judy went to help dress Grandma.  Judy has just amazed me daily for the love and kindness she's shown for her in-laws.  Every thing that she's done has been Christ like and loving.

Family sushi night.

Buddies since birth

Games are a big part of any Robertson family gathering.  Any time there's a game there will also be Jeremy, Jacob, Joseph, Robert, (Joseph T. for that matter) Aubrey, John and usually Jim too.
