Cinderella

I was sitting next to Ada while she watched Cinderella today... when the bell rings at midnight I hear her gasp... when I looked over at her she said, "That means she's got to go."

Something else that was really cute today.  She was pretending to be me.  She was carrying around her baby saying, "There, there now."  Cooking dinner with her play kitchen, and I'm not sure if she was quoting me or Cinderella... but she was saying, "Just a minute!"

Portraits

This has been in my drafts forever because I was going to add more, but.... I haven't had a chance so I'm just posting them and I'll get the others later.
Again... a lot of what I've done was done with my film camera, but here are some portraits and family shoots that I've done in the last couple of years since I got my digital camera.  There is definitely a learning curve for me.

A couple of the people that I've been talking to recently don't believe me when I say that my kids look like me... it's not THAT important... but it's true. They look like me. Take a look at the link.

Christmas pics second installment

I put a couple of the Christmas pictures up that I was going to, then I realized I didn't get all of them.  Here are some of the others that I was going to post and I'll just forget about the rest.

Sammy and buddy Grandpa watching football.

Family picture... we missed you Sopie and McKay!

Ada and Grandpa do make good cuddle buddies.

Ada is a 'big girl'.  She's got her purse and drives away in Grandma's car.

All four of us opening presents on Christmas morning.  Even our little fairy princess.

Just cause he's cute!

Good ol' Christmas pasttime.  Puzzle time!

Our little Sammy love!

Uncle Brad turned 50 this year... dad is famous for giving him a pair of something... a pair of gloves... one for Christmas and one for his birthday.

Great Grandma and Sammy.

Grandma sharing dinner with sleeping baby!

Ada was Mary this year, Bryant was Joseph and Sammy was baby Jesus.  Fun, but over quick when you use two year olds as your nativity.

These last pictures are just cute.  I love to see how much Jer and Ada love each other.  They are the best parts of my life.

Christmas pics galore!

We've had such a fun and bust week that I don't even really know what to say...  We played 'Swashbucklers' with the Clary's and co. We had Christmas Eve sing-ins with the Wilcox's.  Santa came and even though Ada was scared of her new toy train at first... she loves it now.  Sammy loved the soccer ball and stacking cups.  Ada dressed as a sugar plum fairy and danced while she watched the Nutcracker Ballet... and she woke up this morning to ask if Santa had come again.  I'll let pictures show most of the story, but those were a few highlights.

My mom, dad, Ada, Jeremy and Sammy

Sammy helping mommy work. (I am actually answering some work emails on my laptop... you just can't see it.)

Me, Jer, Sharon, Janelle, Seth, Dad at Tucanos for everybody's birthday dinner.  (My mom, Ada and Sammy were there too.)

My wonderful parents!

Ada!

The cheeser...

Ada and Grandpa stopped to dance to some music as we were passing a store.

Grace playing with horses all Christmas Eve.

Anya... too skinny for her pants!

Robertson group sledding party at Grandma's house.

Jonathon

The sledding train.  Ruth, Mariah, Rachel, and Harrison.

Johnny and Adam

Johnny and Adam... again.

Jonathon.

I love these smiles!

Aubrey and James... the conspiritors.  There plan was to run me over with their sled if they could.

Jonathon decided that ice tastes like food.

Building gingerbread houses with the cousins.

Em, the mastermind.

She mastermided this too... She hit him and ran.

Ada and second cousin Bryant getting ready for the annual Jingle Bells sing along.

Grandma found something cute.

This is how I remember Christmas Eve.  I think I always will.
